Eric Frey, a 31 year old husband and father of Toledo, Ohio has posted an auction on ebay for the purchase of a company’s advertisement to be permanently tattooed on his forehead, neck, leg, and arm. Frey says he has wanted to purchase a new tattoo but was having a difficult time deciding what to get. His wife suggested letting someone on ebay choose, which led him to sell advertising space on his body.

Eric says he is hoping to target the online poker industry, he quotes, “I play a great deal of online poker as well as live poker. My weekends are spent in Detroit casinos such as Greektown and MGM; I'm hoping one day to play in the World Series of Poker.” Not only does Frey like to play poker, he recently launched an informational poker website It wouldn’t be surprising if an online poker company were to take Eric up on his offer. In June of 2005 a woman named Kari Smith tattooed on her forehead. Smith's eBay auction attracted more than 27,000 hits and 1,000 watchers. Bidding reached $999.99 before met Smith's $10,000 asking price.

The auction will be running for ten days providing someone doesn’t buy before then. After the buyer has purchased, Eric plans to hire a tattoo artist to come to his home to perform the tattooing. Also, it will be performed live via webcam so people all around the world are able to watch this unusual yet interesting event take place.

While it is unknown if the Ohio poker players face, neck, arm, and leg will be purchased for advertising, it is known that the auction will surely become an attention grabber. Assuming someone does win the auction, Eric Frey will be known as a walking pop-up!
