want to start sidewalk (only) snow removal Business.looking for prices and sites for cheap 25hp,2stage plow, blower looking for best equipment.

This is a good time to buy snow equipment. Snow removal is a pretty good business if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow. Best equipment depends on what type of areas you're clearing, how much cash you have, and how much you need to make. The most profitable is a truck with a snow plow, but in the right area, you can do well with a snow blower. You don't need a 25 hp blower. The size snow blower you get depends on what you're going to do with it and how strong you are. I have a 13 hp 32 inch snow blower but its a beast and is tough to control. I'd recommend something smaller unless you're pretty big and plan to do very large areas. A 28″ 10 hp snow blower is a great size and not too tough to control I'd shop around for used equipment that you can find at a good price in the summer.

You can put a plow on almost anything, tractors, ATVs, gators, lawn tractors, trucks, mini trucks, etc. Commercial grade snow plows are expensive. Mine cost $5500 (8' commercial grade with full hydraulics) Boss snow plows are the best if you want a serious snow plow.

Putting a 40″ snow blower on a lawn tractor is an affordable way to get a good snow removal machine that can do larger areas. The downside is this is tough to transport without a truck and trailer.

hope this helps.
